Hammer Bash is one of the starting Warrior skills obtainable for everyone in Pre-Searing Ascalon. You can find it by performing the Warrior's Challenge quest given by Duke Barradin in the Barradin estates and, failing that, by buying it from the trainer in Post-Searing Ascalon City.
It's a solid, if unspectacular skills. It's quick to recharge - for a hammer skill, anyway - and the knockdown condition is effective and long-lasting disruption. What really hurts Hammer Bash is that "lose all adrenaline" tag which means it's hard to make it play nicely with other adrenal skills. This has been done, though, to prevent chain knockdown loops or "knock lock" so that one character can't completely disable another indefinitely. Still, long-lasting knockdown can be achieved with some good timing by chaining an elite knockdown into a conditional knockdown into a "lose all adrenaline" knockdown. With stonefist gauntlets and a way of increasing adrenal gain that's a good six or eight seconds of continual knockdown which can be recycled fairly rapidly.
